Very kind staff, even if you have to wait, they tell it. Rules are strict (have a table first, order , pay in cash, wait) Mussels with cheese is a special, Fritti plates are good choice to try different things.

Place was recommended by our host and also while checking best restaurant. It didn't disappoint.Once you get there, find a table and sit. Someone will take the order for drinks, and you go to the window to order your food. We easily found a spot to seat, but we arrived quite early around 11:30Price of mix plate was good (32) regarding the portion .

Amazing mussels. Mussels are covered in cheese, which I’ve never had before but it’s fantastic. Our waiter recommended it and he was spot on. It’s a little bit of a unique ordering/seating system- you ask one of waiters circulating around the tables for a table. Once you get a table, you order from the window and get a shell with a number on it. They ring the bell when a bunch of orders come out and you wait by the window for your number. The drinks are ordered separately at the bar next to the restaurant. Their menu has a list of instructions on how to order/get your food/ get a table. Sardines were ok. I highly recommend the mussels! All the locals we met recommended this place so it gets pretty busy so either eat early or be ready to wait a bit

The food is fenomenal! We ate the more expensive plate for two, it is nice and fresh, really tasty and light. The service is really nice too, there is a 45-55 min wait but with some lemonade you can kill time outside. There were a lot of pigeons “hunting” for food agressively, which were kind of freaking us out, but obviously it isnt the restaurants fault.

We had the shared grilled platter for 32 euro, you cannot go bad with this quality (and quantity) of food. Would recommend this over checking out some of the more touristy places. Be aware that there can be a lot of wind here, just like over the rest of the town.

Wow! Super fresh Calamari Fritti and the muscles Fritolin (with tomato and cheese) were sooo delicious!Also the staff is super nice and it's very atmospheric to sit outside on the square.

The best seafood you will find in Piran. Excellent prices and quality beyond belief. They have mastered all flavors. The best mussels I have ever had and sea bass cooked to perfection. Do not miss this spot!

Tasty food. The restaurant is self service, meaning you order at the window and they call you when the food is ready , so you can go to pick it up. We ordered fish plate 2 . It's enough for 2 people.Later edit:We came back and got the stuffed calamari. They came with fried potatoes. But you can switch with the potatoes with spinach , which are not fried and unhealthy
